Saturday the 13th is the Farms of Amador Dinner at Kennedy Gold Mine but the 12th is this lovely event at the same location. Spend the weekend getting to know your ecosystem from both a wildlife perspective AND an agricultural perspective! Hosted by Amador Resource Conservation District, and of course, we will be there as well!

There are still a few tickets left for the Yorba Wines Songs @ Shakeridge event this Saturday! Tickets are free, but they do need an RSVP. Donations can be made to the Farms of Amador at the event.

The Farms of Amador's annual Farm Tour and Dinner is September 13th.
At this year's dinner, the opportunity to bid on our lavender breakfast for 8 will be returning. This includes an amazing breakfast created by Chef Ernie and enjoyed under Daniel D'Agostini's beautiful walnut tree. After breakfast there is a tour of Abbondanza Farm and then the opportunity to harvest fresh lavender. Tickets to the Farm Tour and Dinner can be purchased online at farmsofamador.org.

A significant portion of Amador agriculture is dedicated to grape growing and wine making. We recently partnered with the Amador Wine Grape Growers to celebrate their work and passion. While our focus is usually food, wine is a huge economic driver of our local economy.
